The command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the transfer of those responsible for the beating of veteran Artem Moroz in Kyiv to combat units. The police have opened a criminal investigation into the incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the Land Forces.<\/p>\n

The Ground Forces noted that the incident occurred with the participation of representatives of the CCC and the Joint Venture of the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv and war veteran Artem Moroz.<\/p>\n

According to the command, during the implementation of notification measures, a conflict situation arose between a CCC serviceman and a veteran, during which the serviceman used physical force.<\/p>\n

“The serviceman used physical force, which in this case cannot be justified by anything,” the Land Forces said.<\/p>\n

The police opened criminal proceedings under Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The victim was sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the severity of the injuries.<\/p>\n

The command announced that a decision will be made regarding the guilty officials’ further service in combat units.<\/p>\n

The leadership of the Kyiv MTCC and the Joint Venture, according to the Land Forces, is in contact with the injured veteran and has already officially apologized for the actions of the personnel.<\/p>\n

“The Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine strongly condemns such unlawful actions,” the statement said.<\/p>\n

As is known, in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, police are investigating the beating of a veteran<\/a> who, according to preliminary data, received injuries during a conflict with representatives of the alert group. According to information published on the network, the man was surrounded by people in balaclavas, after which one of them hit the veteran on the head, and the other used a gas canister.<\/p>\n
