Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk<\/span><\/span> defeated Dutchman Rico Verhoeven<\/span><\/span> by technical knockout in the 11th round and successfully defended his heavyweight championship belts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Verhoeven was more active early in the fight, while Usyk played second fiddle and kept his opponent at bay. By the third round, the boxers began actively trading punches, with the Dutchman landing several dangerous attacks.<\/p>\n

Starting in the fourth round, Usyk took the initiative. The Ukrainian successfully landed a series of punches and uppercuts, but Verhoeven also responded with powerful right hands.<\/p>\n

In the second half of the fight, the Dutchman didn’t slow down and continued to pressure the champion. In the eighth and ninth rounds, Verhoeven pinned Usyk against the ropes several times, and at the end of the tenth round, the fighters engaged in a brutal exchange of punches.<\/p>\n
