Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orb\u00e1n<\/span><\/span> condemned Russia’s overnight combined attack on Kyiv and expressed support for the victims and the people of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated in a statement by the head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Orban called the attack on the Ukrainian capital another reminder of the human cost of war.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Russia’s brutal nighttime attack on Kyiv is yet another horrific reminder of the human cost of this war. Civilians should never wake up to missiles, drones, explosions, or fear for their lives,” she said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The head of Hungarian diplomacy also noted the grave consequences of the shelling for the civilian population.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Destroyed homes, broken families, innocent people killed and wounded \u2013 this is unacceptable. We strongly condemn the attack and stand with the victims and the people of Ukraine,” Orb\u00e1n added.<\/p>\n

On the night of May 24, Russian forces launched a massive, combined-arms attack on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and attack drones. The shelling affected all districts of the capital.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the latest data, two people were killed and another 77 were injured as a result of the attack.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on May 13, Russia also launched a major attack on the Transcarpathian region, home to a significant Hungarian minority.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As is known, on the night of May 24, Russian troops launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine<\/a> , using missiles and kamikaze drones. Kyiv suffered the most destruction<\/a> , with damage and fires reported throughout the capital.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, as a result of a Russian Oreshnik missile strike on Bila Tserkva<\/a> in the Kyiv region, three garages were damaged.<\/p>\n
