Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the consequences of Russia’s massive nighttime attack on Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine. The strikes killed 4 people and injured about 100.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the president, units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and municipal services continue to work at the sites of Russian strikes. <\/p>\n

“Everyone is acting as effectively as possible, given the scale of the attack and its consequences: about 100 people were injured across the country, and another 4, unfortunately, died,” Zelensky said. <\/p>\n

The President noted that in Kyiv alone, about 30 residential buildings were damaged or destroyed. <\/p>\n

Zelenskyy said that Russian forces had launched strikes on Kyiv and other cities and communities in Ukraine overnight. He said that most of the missiles were aimed at the capital. <\/p>\n

In Kyiv, residential buildings, schools, a grocery market, the Chernobyl Museum, the National Art Museum, as well as the building housing the office of the German television and radio company ARD were damaged as a result of the attack. <\/p>\n

“As of now, it is known that a total of 69 people were injured in the capital. Unfortunately, two people died from this senseless Russian attack,” the president said. <\/p>\n

Zelensky also reported that he had held talks with the President of France and the Prime Minister of Norway, and also announced further communication with international partners.<\/p>\n

“Concrete steps are also needed to strengthen air defense – the supply of missiles should not stop for a single day,” he stressed.<\/p>\n

As is known, on the night of May 24, Russian troops carried out a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine<\/a> , using missiles and kamikaze drones. Kyiv suffered the greatest destruction<\/a> – damage and fires were recorded in all districts of the capital.<\/p>\n

By the way, three garages were damaged as a result of the Russian strike with an Oreshnik missile on Bila Tserkva<\/a> in the Kyiv region.<\/p>\n
