At the same time, the current mobilization rules remain unchanged for now.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"338\" data-end=\"576\">According to the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Mobilization Training and Mobilization\u201d, the conscription age is from 25 to 60 years. Men over the age of 18 can only be recruited voluntarily \u2014 under a contract, in particular within the framework of the \u201cContract 18\u201324\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"338\" data-end=\"576\">\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/mobilization-in-ukraine-what-awaits-men-over-50\/\">Mobilization in Ukraine: What awaits men over 50?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"578\" data-end=\"713\">If a man under 25 has already served in the military, he automatically acquires the status of a conscript and may receive a summons.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"937\">However, the actual lower age limit for mobilization is exactly 25. From this age, a man automatically falls into the category of those liable for military service and can be drafted unless he has a deferment or grounds for exemption from service.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"1220\">The upper age limit for most men is 60. At the same time, for senior officers, it is extended to 65. After 60, men can also do military service voluntarily \u2014 under the \u201cContract 60+\u201d program, if there is an appropriate decision from the command.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1328\">Since June 1, mobilization rules in Ukraine remain in effect &#8211; no new norms have been introduced yet.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1365\"><strong data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1365\">Who will be mobilized first:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1528\">\u2022 men aged 25 to 60 with no military experience \u2014 provided there are no health problems, deferments, or reservations. This is the main category of conscription;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1711\">\u2022 men aged 18 to 60 who have already served or have the status of those liable for military service, including reserve officers &#8211; if they are deemed fit and do not have a deferment;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1929\">\u2022 citizens who were previously removed from military registration due to health reasons, but were later found fit for service by a repeated military medical commission, as well as persons with the status of \u201climitedly fit\u201d, which has now been canceled.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1931\" data-end=\"2098\">Thus, the key factors remain not only age, but also military status, health status, and the absence of legal grounds for deferment or exemption from service.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2100\" data-end=\"2134\">At the same time, the government is preparing some changes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2477\">Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Oleksandr Syrskyi<\/span><\/span> said that servicemen discharged from service will receive a deferment from re-call-up in proportion to the number of days spent at the front. According to him, this mechanism is already being worked out by the military command, and practical solutions should be prepared at the brigade level.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2479\" data-end=\"2834\">The Ministry of Defense also announced its intention to transform territorial recruitment centers into &#8220;Reserve+ Offices.&#8221; It is planned to create two separate units: recruitment offices &#8211; for military registration, recruiting, and registration for service, as well as support offices &#8211; for social issues, including compensation for the wounded and payments to the families of the deceased.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2836\" data-end=\"2941\">At the same time, this project is still at the discussion stage and has not been enshrined in resolutions or draft laws.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"3189\">Earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/budanov-poobitsiav-borotysia-z-ekstsesamy-z-boku-ttsk-ale-mobilizatsiia-maie-prodovzhuvatys-bo-kraina-vpade\/\">&#8220;Pryamiy&#8221; reported<\/a> that the head of the President&#8217;s Office <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">, Kyrylo Budanov,<\/span><\/span> commented on possible changes in the field of mobilization and the work of the CCK.
