The platform was launched in a closed beta testing format.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/24tv.ua\/tech\/ukrayinskiy-ai-chat-lapathoniia-chat-zapustili-bazi-lokalnih_n3074387\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;24 Channel&#8221;<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> The Lapathoniia team announced the launch of &#8220;Ukraine&#8217;s first AI chat assistant based on Ukrainian large-scale language models.&#8221; The developers position the project as a step towards creating their own Ukrainian AI ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p> The main feature of the service is that the entire platform infrastructure is located in Ukraine. The cloud capabilities of the Ukrainian provider De Novo are used for operation, and user data, according to the team, remains within Ukrainian data centers.<\/p>\n<p> The company noted that the launch of the service should demonstrate the potential of Ukrainian large-scale language models in the format of AI chats. The developers believe that the capabilities of such models should be evaluated through real interaction with the assistant, and not just through technical indicators.<\/p>\n<p> The following features are currently available in Lapathoniia Chat:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> dialog mode;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> web search;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> conversation history;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> context memory;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> working with files;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> deep research functions for information analysis.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> The platform is also aimed at developers and organizations. The Lviv Polytechnic National University website reported that the service provides access to Ukrainian LLMs via API for integration into their own products, corporate systems, and government services.<\/p>\n<p> In the current version of the platform, the MamayLM and Lapa LLM models are available. In the future, the team plans to expand the list of Ukrainian language models in the service. Lapathoniia Chat supports a context window of 32,000 tokens per request and has 12 billion parameters. The project is implemented with the academic support of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems of Lviv Polytechnic.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Today, the development of Ukrainian AI technologies is extremely important, and the emergence of such initiatives helps to form our own technological ecosystem and create solutions focused on the Ukrainian context and needs,&#8221; the university reported.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/u-dii-startuvalo-holosuvannia-za-nazvu-ukrainskoho-shi\/\">voting has started in Ukraine for the name of the first national large-scale language model<\/a> , which is being developed together with Kyivstar. Subsequently, Ukrainians chose the name for the first national large-scale language model <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ukrainskyy-shi-otrymav-nazvu-shcho-vidomo\/\">\u2014the winner was \u201cSiayvo\u201d<\/a> .
