One of them may have malfunctioned and landed in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1377\"> This <a href=\"https:\/\/understandingwar.org\/research\/russia-ukraine\/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-may-25-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is stated<\/a> in a report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1488\"> Analysts cite data from Ukrainian OSINT researchers who analyzed video of the aftermath of the night attack.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1664\"> The footage shows six submunitions falling in succession.
