The Russian leadership’s threats to strike Kyiv and demands for diplomats to leave the capital indicate a deep systemic crisis within the leadership of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, which arose due to the inability to achieve the goals set on the battlefield.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to him, the failures of the strategy and new threats to Moscow have driven the Kremlin leadership to “hysteria.”<\/p>\n

“I think we are dealing with an almost unprecedented situation. Putin had three critical points in this war, that is, three moments when he began to feel a certain taste of a lost war,” Volokh noted.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the guest added, the current state of affairs in the Kremlin is different from the previous stages of the war. If earlier miscalculations were of a tactical nature, such as a miscalculation of Ukrainian resistance or insufficient forces for the invasion, now the problems have become systemic.
