In Ukraine, on Thursday, May 28, a noticeable cold snap and stronger winds are expected due to the passage of a cold atmospheric front.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.<\/p>\n

According to her, the country will be behind a cold front, so precipitation is still possible, but it will be weak and localized.<\/p>\n

“Tomorrow, May 28, the territory of Ukraine will be behind a cold atmospheric front. Therefore, the remnants of rain will still drip, but precipitation is expected to be insignificant and local,” Didenko noted.<\/p>\n

After the front passes, colder air will begin to flow into Ukraine, causing the temperature to drop noticeably.<\/p>\n

“Cold air will spread behind the cold front, so the air temperature will drop significantly, during the day to +15…+19 degrees, in the south +20…+23 degrees are expected,” the forecaster reported.<\/p>\n

Separately, she warned of increasing winds, which could reach storm gusts in places.<\/p>\n

“Cold air is heavy and exerts a lot of pressure, so the wind will increase to storm gusts due to the resistance of warmer air,” Didenko explained.<\/p>\n

Cool and windy weather is also expected in Kyiv on May 28. According to the forecast, light rain is possible, and the temperature will drop to about +15 degrees. A strong north-westerly wind will be especially noticeable.<\/p>\n

According to the weather forecaster, cool weather in Ukraine will persist until the end of the week, but gradual warming is expected in early June.<\/p>\n
