In Dnipro, police have detained a man suspected of murdering an 11-year-old boy. The child’s body was discovered during search efforts after he went missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the child disappeared on May 26, after which the parents contacted the police.<\/p>\n

“On the evening of May 27, the police received a report that on May 26, at around 1 p.m., the boy went outside for a walk and did not return home,” law enforcement officials noted.<\/p>\n

The police immediately launched a search, interviewed the child’s surroundings, and checked her circle of friends.<\/p>\n

“Juvenile police officers of Dnipro began a search, established the child’s circle of friends, and interviewed relatives and acquaintances,” the report says.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, law enforcement officers located a suspect, a 40-year-old man, who was detained.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and investigative actions are ongoing with him,\u201d the police reported.<\/p>\n

He is charged with the intentional murder of a minor child. Law enforcement officers continue to establish all the circumstances of the tragedy.<\/p>\n
