Three tankers linked to the so-called Russian shadow fleet were attacked in the Black Sea off the northern coast of Turkey.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> T\u00fcrkiye Today with reference to the shipping agency Tribeca.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the agency, the Palau-flagged tanker James II was empty and approximately 80 kilometers north of the Turkeli area at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Two other tankers – the Altura and Velora, flagged by Sierra Leone – were attacked while transferring cargo between ships.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Rescue boats were dispatched to the scene after the incident. According to preliminary information, none of the crew members were injured.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The publication recalled that after the start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine in the Black Sea, there were repeated attacks on ports, ships, and infrastructure from both sides.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

So far, neither Ukraine nor Russia have officially commented on the new attacks on tankers.<\/p>\n
