With the start of the summer season, Ukrzaliznytsia is increasing the number of flights for travel within Ukraine. The company says that they are responding to changes in passenger traffic and redistributing cars to the most popular destinations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Ukrzaliznytsia.<\/p>\n

It is noted that some of the cars from less busy routes are being transferred to flights where demand for tickets has increased significantly.<\/p>\n

“This allows us to assign additional trains and increase the number of seats on the most popular routes in conditions of a shortage of cars,” the company explained.<\/p>\n

In the near future, seven pairs of trains will be transferred to daily service. Among them are flights between Uzhgorod and Dnipro, Lviv and Zaporizhia, Kovel and Odessa, Kharkiv and Odessa, as well as Mykolaiv and Kyiv.<\/p>\n

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia is restoring the Sumy-Rakhiv train. It will once again connect the northern regions with the west of the country and provide direct connections to popular tourist destinations in the Carpathians.<\/p>\n

“The route will once again connect Sumy region with western regions and mountain resorts,” the company noted.<\/p>\n

Also, due to increased demand, an additional train from Kyiv to Chernivtsi has been scheduled. It will run every other day and pass through several large cities, including Vinnytsia, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk.<\/p>\n

Ticket sales for new and additional flights will open gradually – depending on the train departure date.<\/p>\n
