Experts examined the wreckage of the Russian Oreshnik missile, which the occupiers used to strike the Lviv region in the winter of 2026. The analysis showed that some of the electronic components were manufactured in 2014-2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the study of the Oreshnik missile wreckage, experts discovered Belarusian components and an element base manufactured before 2017.<\/p>\n

According to the publication, part of the rocket’s body detached during the flight and did not burn up, which made it possible to study its internal components in detail. In particular, the processor unit and the main computer board, which are responsible for flight control and transmitting signals to the rudders and engines, were preserved.<\/p>\n

“Military” notes that the presence of old components casts doubt on the Russian side’s claim that “Oreshnik” is a new development. <\/p>\n

As analysts note, the missile is actually the result of a deep modernization of existing Soviet or Russian missile systems with the introduction of certain technological changes.<\/p>\n

“All printed circuit boards and microcircuits found inside the processor unit were manufactured between 2014 and 2016,” the material says.<\/p>\n

No new American, Chinese, or European parts were found during the investigation. All electronic components found are of Russian and Belarusian origin. <\/p>\n

Among the discovered elements are products of the Minsk plant “Integral”, which is one of the largest manufacturers of microelectronics in Eastern Europe. At the same time, the main part of the rocket’s element base, according to the publication, was produced at enterprises in Moscow and the Moscow region.<\/p>\n

As is known, on the night of January 9, Lviv region was hit by a missile strike<\/a> , which hit a critical infrastructure facility. After the attack, fires and gas supply disruptions were recorded in some areas of the region.<\/p>\n

Later, videos of the alleged moment of arrival and the consequences of the strike appeared<\/a> on the Internet, which are associated with the use of a Russian ballistic missile \u201cOreshnik\u201d. Then, the Security Service published a photo of the wreckage of the ballistic missile \u201cOreshnik\u201d<\/a> , with which the Russian army struck the territory of Ukraine on the night of January 9.<\/p>\n

Recall that on the night of May 24 , Russia probably launched two RS-26 Rubizh (\u201cOreshnik\u201d) medium-range ballistic missile systems<\/a> during a massive attack on Ukraine. According to preliminary data, one of the missiles may have fallen in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.
