Donald Trump’s American allies and the Argentine government are reportedly developing a plan to appoint former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to a position at the United Nations, a move that could provide the politician with diplomatic immunity after losing power in Hungary, journalists say.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, American Republicans from the MAGA movement, together with the Argentine government, are working on a so-called “exit strategy” for Viktor Orb\u00e1n after the defeat of his Fidesz party in the parliamentary elections in April 2026.<\/p>\n

Journalists claim that the main goal of such a plan is for Orban to obtain international diplomatic immunity, which could protect him from possible anti-corruption investigations by the future Hungarian government.<\/p>\n

Citing sources close to the politician, it is noted that Orban’s daughter Rahel and her husband Istvan Tiborc have already moved to New York, where conditions are allegedly being prepared for the former Hungarian prime minister’s long-term stay.<\/p>\n

The article states that after the new Hungarian leadership refused to nominate Orban to international institutions, an alternative option was proposed. According to this scheme, the politician’s candidacy for a high position in the UN could be nominated by Argentina under the leadership of President Javier Milley.<\/p>\n
