The self-proclaimed leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, commented on the statement of the commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdy, about identifying 500 targets in Belarus in case of invasion. In response, he stated that Belarus has its own targets and assured that Minsk is not preparing to attack Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by Belarusian media.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters in Astana, Alexander Lukashenko called the statement about 500 designated targets in Belarus in the event of an invasion “chatter.” He mistakenly attributed these words to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

“They may have identified 500 targets. Thank you that we have 500 targets for them. We have one very serious target with very precise coordinates and not far from Belarus. They also understand this,” Lukashenko noted.<\/p>\n

He also stated that the Ukrainian military is allegedly not interested in a war with Belarus and expressed his own assessment of the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.<\/p>\n

“Let Volodymyr Oleksandrovych forgive me for this, but this is some kind of chatter. And the positions of the military are different. The Ukrainian military does not want any war with Belarus,” Lukashenko said.<\/p>\n

In his opinion, the President of Ukraine is allegedly being “pushed” to make such statements in Europe.<\/p>\n

“I’m trying to understand the president of Ukraine. There’s a war going on, there’s terrible pressure. It’s not so easy to survive. Well, maybe something happened there. He smoked somewhere, he stabbed somewhere, and something else happened, and he’s starting to make this statement. I just feel sorry for him. That’s why I’m silent. God forbid I get into such a situation,” Lukashenko added.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he assured that Belarus is not preparing to attack Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“This will never happen. Never! Our soldiers were not there and will not be. He knows this too, and the military knows it,” Lukashenko said.<\/p>\n

He also stated that in the event of an attack on Belarus, “the war in Ukraine will take on a completely different quality.”<\/p>\n

The day before, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, stated that Ukraine had already identified the first 500 targets in Belarus in the event of Minsk’s direct entry into the war on the side of Russia.<\/a><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukraine is currently not recording a concentration of troops near the border with Belarus, but the threat from this direction remains.<\/a><\/p>\n
