The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on May 31 regarding the repulsion of the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total , 229 combat clashes have taken place on the front since the beginning of this day.<\/strong> The defense forces continue to confidently restrain the enemy invasion, destroy personnel, and methodically exhaust the combat potential of the occupiers, inflicting systematic fire strikes on them.<\/p>\n

Today, the enemy has carried out 58 air strikes, dropping 174 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders have deployed 4,452 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,213 attacks to destroy our positions and peaceful settlements.<\/p>\n

Eight combat clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions during the day. The enemy carried out 67 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, four of which were using multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the invaders stormed the defensive lines of our units ten times near Lyman, Veterinarny, Kolodyazny, and Starytsia.<\/p>\n

On the Kupyansk<\/strong> sector of the front, the invaders attacked three times, trying to crush our units in the areas of Shyykivka and Kupyansk.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled seven enemy attempts to advance near Kopanky, Novomykolaivka, Dibrova, Stavki, Drobyshevy, Lyman, and Ozerny. Four more combat clashes are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces successfully thwarted four attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka, Kalenykivka, Nikiforivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing here.<\/p>\n

No offensive actions by the occupation forces were recorded in the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

The defense forces successfully repelled ten enemy assaults in the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rusynivka Yar, Mykolaivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, the enemy conducted forty attacks. The occupiers tried to break through in the areas of Vilny, Dorozhny, Bilytsky, Rodynsky, Oleksandrivka, Hryshyn, Shevchenko, Molodetsky, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Kotlyny, and Udachny.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary estimates, 38 occupiers were eliminated in this direction today, and another 17 were wounded. Our soldiers destroyed one multiple launch rocket system, one vehicle and five units of special enemy equipment. Three vehicles, one cannon and one drone control point were also damaged. In addition, 183 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed by electronic warfare means.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the occupiers once tried to improve their tactical position by attacking in the Verbovye area.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, 29 attacks by the invaders were recorded in the areas of Zaliznychne, Vozdvizhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipil, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Rybne, and Varvarivka.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the enemy tried to penetrate the defenses ten times near Shcherbaky, Bilogirye, Nesteryanka, and Stepnohirsk. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, our defenders successfully stopped one enemy assault in the direction of the Antoniv Bridge.<\/p>\n

There were no significant changes in the operational situation in other areas.<\/p>\n
