Finland clinched its fifth IIHF World Championship title by defeating Switzerland in a dramatic final in Zurich. The championship was decided in overtime, with the winning goal coming in the 71st minute after a fiercely contested battle at Swiss Life Arena.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final match of the World Cup was between Switzerland and Finland. The match ended goalless in regular time\u20140:0.<\/p>\n

In the first period, the Finnish team was active, taking 14 shots to the opponent’s 7. However, neither side managed to open the score.<\/p>\n

In the second period, Switzerland had the advantage, while the Finns had only 2 shots on goal. Despite this, the score remained unchanged.<\/p>\n
