The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of June 8, 1 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment on various sections of the front. In total , 276 combat clashes<\/strong> were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation struck three control points and four areas of concentration of enemy personnel.<\/p>\n

The enemy carried out 86 air strikes, including dropping 264 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders used 8,557 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,114 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, of which 55 attacks were carried out from multiple rocket launcher systems. The aggressor carried out air strikes, including on the areas of the settlements of Luzhky, Pustogorod and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region.<\/p>\n

Eight combat clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day. The enemy carried out 80 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 12 times in the areas of Lyman, Veterinarny, Kolodyazny, Synelnyky, and Starytsia.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped three enemy attacks in the areas of Shyykivka and Kupyansk.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eleven attempts by the invaders to advance near Kopanky, Novomykolaivka, Dibrova, Stavky, Drobyshevy, Lyman, and Ozerny.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka, Kalenykivka, Nykyforivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Tikhonivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 49 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Vilny, Dorozhny, Bilytsky, Rodynsky, Oleksandrivka, Hryshyn, Shevchenko, Molodetsky, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Kotlyny, and Udachny.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Tovste and Verbove.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, there were 43 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Zaliznychne, Vozdvizhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipil, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Novoselivka, and Varvarivka.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the enemy tried ten times to penetrate the defenses near Shcherbaky, Bilogirye, Nesteryanka, and Stepnohirsk.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian units stopped one enemy attack towards the Antoniv Bridge.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n

By the way, over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,410 people<\/a> . In addition, the Defense Forces neutralized four tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 50 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, nine ground robotic complexes, 1,852 unmanned aerial vehicles, 384 vehicles and five units of special equipment.<\/p>\n
