On the night of June 1, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 265 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized 228 enemy drones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/span><\/span> reported this.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., Ukrainian forces shot down or suppressed 228 drones using electronic warfare systems in the north, east, and south of the country.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 27 attack UAV strikes were recorded at 18 locations, and debris from downed targets was found at another 12 locations. The Air Force noted that the attack was ongoing, and some Russian drones remained in Ukrainian airspace.<\/p>\n

Odessa was one of the main targets. Two overnight attacks damaged apartment buildings in different districts, an administrative building, and infrastructure. Five people were injured.<\/p>\n

In Kharkiv, two people were injured by Russian shelling. According to Oleg Sinegubov<\/span><\/span> , head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration<\/span><\/span> , a five-story residential building, neighboring apartment buildings, garages, and cars were damaged.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Explosions were also heard in other towns and villages in the Kharkiv region. In Bohodukhiv, a 39-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.<\/p>\n

Sumy also came under attack. According to the head of the Sumy City Military Administration<\/span><\/span> , Serhiy Krivosheenko<\/span><\/span> , the shelling damaged a preschool, knocking out more than 20 windows. Four residential buildings were also damaged, with approximately 60 windows and balcony frames shattered.<\/p>\n

Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia in the early morning. A private home was damaged, and a 73-year-old woman was injured, according to Ivan Fedorov,<\/span><\/span> head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration<\/span><\/span> .<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Additionally, at around 1:30 AM, Russian artillery shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. According to regional authorities, three local residents were wounded: a 57-year-old woman and men aged 31 and 61.<\/p>\n
