{"id":1399926,"date":"2026-06-01T12:13:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T09:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/power-outages-have-returned-to-ukraine-due-to-russian-shelling\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T12:13:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T09:13:15","slug":"power-outages-have-returned-to-ukraine-due-to-russian-shelling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/power-outages-have-returned-to-ukraine-due-to-russian-shelling\/","title":{"rendered":"Power outages have returned to Ukraine due to Russian shelling."},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"79\" data-end=\"239\"><strong>As a result of military action and Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in eight regions of Ukraine are temporarily without electricity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"241\" data-end=\"299\"> <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine<\/span><\/span> reported this.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"476\"> As of June 1, power outages were reported in Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"595\"> The Ministry noted that power engineers are working in an enhanced mode to restore power supply as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"772\"> &#8220;Power workers are working in an intensified manner to restore power to all customers as quickly as possible. Restoration work is ongoing around the clock,&#8221; the department noted.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"979\"> At the same time, the Ministry of Energy assured that the introduction of power outage schedules is not currently anticipated. Distribution system operators will provide additional information about any changes to the power grid&#8217;s operation.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1110\"> Ukrainians were also urged to use electricity sparingly during peak grid hours \u2013 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1311\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"> &#8220;We ask consumers to use electricity sparingly in the evenings whenever possible.
