The death toll in Dnipro has risen as a result of the Russian strike on June 2. As of now, 11 casualties are known, including two children, aged 3 and 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, rescuers recovered the bodies of a woman and an 8-year-old boy from the rubble of a four-story building. It was previously reported that a child born in 2023 was also among the dead.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The number of casualties has risen to 37. Twenty-two wounded remain in hospitals. Doctors diagnosed them with shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations, cuts, mine blast injuries, and acupuncture.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Russian attack caused significant damage to the city. Residential high-rises were partially destroyed, a business, a fire station, and garages were damaged, and dozens of cars were burned.<\/p>\n

Among those hospitalized are a 22-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman, who are in serious condition. Another 24 people, including a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, received moderate injuries.<\/p>\n

The second strike also killed Anton Yarmolenko, deputy head of the fire and rescue team and major of the civil defense service. At the time of the attack, he was responding to a call to deal with the aftermath of the initial shelling.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, on the night of Tuesday, June 2, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv. The shelling caused damage in several districts of the capital, with fatalities and dozens of injuries.<\/a><\/p>\n
