On the night of June 2, Russian troops launched a combined attack on one of the key Naftogaz Group facilities in the Kharkiv region.<\/p>\n

This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, Serhiy Koretsky.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
According to him, the occupiers first attacked the facility with attack drones, and about an hour later launched a second strike with missiles.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“This is a deliberate terror tactic. The Russians are trying to inflict maximum damage not only on the infrastructure but also on the people doing the rescue, repair, and restoration work,” Koretsky emphasized.<\/p>\n

He recalled that a similar tactic had already led to tragic consequences on the night of May 5, when a second strike killed company workers and State Emergency Service rescuers.<\/p>\n

Following the events, Naftogaz reviewed its security approach and strengthened response protocols during the aftermath of the attacks. According to the company’s director, thanks to these measures, no casualties were reported this time.<\/p>\n
Emergency services are currently working at the scene to assess the extent of the damage and deal with the aftermath of the shelling. <\/p>\n
