Ukrainian company Fire Point announced<\/a> the successful testing of the FP-7.X missile. This development should become the basis for the creation of the future FREYJA anti-ballistic interceptor.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The developers reported that during the tests the missile performed a fully controlled maneuvering flight. Fire Point called this test one of the important stages of work on the future system for intercepting ballistic targets.<\/p>\n

The company noted that the goal of the project is to help Ukraine in the future create its own means of protecting the sky without dependence on external supplies.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Each successful test of a new missile is a step towards our technological sovereignty,” the developers emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fire Point also stated that the development of its own missile technologies is a matter not only of defense, but also of the strategic independence of the state.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukrainian gunsmiths are completing preparations for flight tests of the new FP-9 ballistic missile<\/a> , capable of hitting strategic targets at long distances. In parallel, work is underway on a new anti-ballistic shield.<\/p>\n
