Russian propaganda has launched a new information campaign aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian army and undermining trust in Ukraine among Western partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation.<\/p>\n

According to the Central Intelligence Agency, at least two fakes began to spread simultaneously. The first allegedly concerns a report by the American publication The Wall Street Journal, which allegedly states that Ukraine cannot account for 38% of the military aid received from the United States. <\/p>\n

The Center emphasized that such a publication by The Wall Street Journal does not exist. There is also no data on the “38% of unaccounted aid” in the Operation Atlantic Resolve report, which the authors of the fake news refer to.<\/p>\n

The second accusation concerns a video showing the destruction of Russian positions. Russian resources are spreading information that most of these shots were created using artificial intelligence, and that the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, is allegedly involved in this.<\/p>\n

The Central Intelligence Agency noted that the original source of this video is Russian Telegram channels. They emphasized that attempts to pass off real footage of combat work by Ukrainian military personnel as content created by artificial intelligence are part of the Kremlin’s information campaign.<\/p>\n

The Center believes that both fakes are elements of a single coordinated operation. Its goal is to weaken Western support for Ukraine through accusations of embezzlement of aid and at the same time undermine the trust of Ukrainians in their own army.<\/p>\n
