In military terms, it can be compared to the “central artery” of a living organism, branching out to deliver essential resources to all parts of the system.

Our drones, which take control of sections of such an artery, that is, sections of the so-called “Novorossiya Highway” in the south, place a blood clot. The clot blocks the blood flow. When this happens, part of the body begins to die.

It is impossible to block the supply completely—some part of the cargo will still get through. For example, in the case of Paulus’s 6th Army, which was surrounded near Stalingrad, single planes continued to arrive at the “cauldron” until the end of January 1943 (Paulus capitulated in early February 1943). That is, logistics actually persisted until the last days, even in a hopeless physical environment.

But in our case, such a task is not set. The main thing is to make these supplies critically insufficient for the Russian army. This is necessary to compel the Russians to stop the offensive, go on the defensive, and create the conditions for the Ukrainian Defense Forces to seize the initiative in certain sections of the front.

The death of the organism due to the clot in the logistics that our drones place will be gradual.

Logistical collapse: how drones destroy the aggressor’s fuel capabilities

When fuel runs out, it will be distributed to those units that need it most. This delta will narrow down to the last generator at the last position of the last Russian drone operator.

When there is a shortage of ammunition, the amount of ammunition per gun will decrease, and the number of guns that can fire will decrease. There will be fewer drones, fewer batteries, and fewer power banks for those batteries. Because everything depends on supplies.

It will be impossible, or very difficult, to rotate troops and evacuate damaged equipment. One day it will become clear that it is no longer possible to assemble one from five broken vehicles, and there is not a single unwounded person in the unit, so combat groups can only be formed from more or less light 300s.

And when these factors converge (if the “clot” persists!), then January 1943 will come for the Russian Army.

Perhaps the withering away will not have time to reach the stages that happened with Paulus’s 6th Army, but if the Russians do not find effective defense, then withering away is an inevitable prospect, as well as a prerequisite for “gestures of goodwill.”

From Luhansk Oblast to Crimea: How Ukrainian Armed Forces Strikes Created a “Logistical Lockdown” for Occupation Troops

When will it happen? It is already being felt! And is it possible to calculate when the critical state will come? We do not have enough data for such a calculation. But if we turn again to historical analogies, the 6th Army, which was surrounded near Stalingrad on November 23, 1942, began to feel complete exhaustion already in mid-December.

In our case, the conditions are completely different. The warm season also plays a big role. Therefore, the Russians may not get the “Stalingrad disease”—they will either fall apart earlier or correct the situation. This cannot be ruled out either. We have only considered the model and sequence of events, using historical facts as an example. And if our drones keep the artery closed, they will be just like that.

As a reminder, on the night of June 6, drones attacked a number of facilities in Russia.
