In the parliamentary elections in Armenia, the Civil Contract party of incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is gaining 32.7% of the vote. The four opposition parties together receive 52.9%, which could potentially allow them to claim a majority in parliament.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the exit poll, Nikol Pashinyan’s “Civil Agreement” is gaining 32.7%;
pro-Russian bloc “Strong Armenia” of businessman Samvel Karapetyan – 29%;
“Armenia” bloc of ex-President Robert Kocharyan – 13.2%;
“Prosperous Armenia” – 6.1%;
“Wings of Unity” – 4.6%.<\/p>\n\t
