Due to drone and artillery attacks by the Russian army on June 11, consumers in six regions of Ukraine were left without electricity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> NPC Ukrenergo.<\/p>\n

Currently, individual consumers in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions remain without electricity.<\/p>\n

The company noted that the power outages were caused by drone attacks and artillery shelling.<\/p>\n

Currently, power engineers are carrying out emergency restoration work.<\/p>\n

“Emergency restoration work is underway wherever safety conditions allow. Power engineers are doing everything possible to return damaged equipment to operation as soon as possible,” the report says.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo also reported that as of 09:30 on June 11, electricity consumption was 1.2% lower than at the same time the previous day.<\/p>\n

Experts explain this by clear weather almost throughout Ukraine, which contributes to the efficient operation of household solar power plants and a reduction in electricity consumption from the general grid.<\/p>\n

Energy experts recommend using powerful electrical appliances between 10:00 and 15:00, when solar generation is at its highest. They also urge citizens to consume electricity economically during the evening peak hours, from 18:00 to 22:00.<\/p>\n

Earlier , “Pryamiy” reported that on the morning of June 11, a Russian drone hit a residential building<\/a> in the Znob-Novgorod community in the Sumy region. A woman died as a result of the strike. Her two young grandchildren were also in the house, who were taken to the hospital for examination after the incident.<\/p>\n

In addition, on the evening of June 10, the external power supply line to the Zaporizhzhia NPP was disconnected due to Russian shelling<\/a> .<\/p>\n
