Starting September 1, 2027, students entering grade 10 will be able to choose between an academic and a vocational direction of study.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/UAMON\/posts\/pfbid0TTCiwf3NGGyFxY3SmWP6pU2UBNtVDR7VUJQxNC4defg3Pk4sV8BEQzw34mMUYuWyl?locale=uk_UA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">by the press service<\/a> of the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that the Ministry of Education has approved the Standard Educational Program for Specialized Secondary Education in a Professional Direction, which is one of the stages of education reform and provides for expanding the possibilities of choosing an educational trajectory for high school students.<\/p>\n<p> According to the program, specialized vocational training will combine obtaining a complete general secondary education with mastering practical skills. There are 10 training profiles:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> agrarian;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> constructional;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> transport and logistics;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> IT;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> medical;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> business and administration;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> hospitality;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> beauty services;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> design;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> other areas defined by the program.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <strong>The study will last 3 years<\/strong> . The share of specialized subjects will gradually increase, and elective disciplines are also provided in accordance with the interests of students and the needs of the labor market.<\/p>\n<p> Depending on the chosen profile, educational emphases will change. In particular, in the IT profile, more attention will be paid to mathematics and digital technologies, in the medical field &#8211; to biology and chemistry, and in the business profile &#8211; to mathematics and a foreign language.<\/p>\n<p> The Ministry of Education and Science noted that general education subjects will be studied in the practical context of the future profession. For example, mathematics in the IT profile will be related to algorithms and digital technologies, and biology in the transport and logistics profile will be related to driver health and occupational safety.<\/p>\n<p> Upon completion of the training, graduates will receive a certificate of complete general secondary education and will have the opportunity to confirm their professional qualifications through qualification centers.
