The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Special Operations Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate, carried out strikes on the Tamannaftogaz oil and gas terminal in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia. The attack hit oil tanks, oil loading facilities, and Russian air defense positions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the SBU.<\/p>\n

It is noted that soldiers of the “Alpha” Special Operations Center of the SBU, together with the Special Operations Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate, carried out an attack on the “Tamannaftogaz” oil and gas terminal in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

According to the SBU, “Tamannaftogas” is the largest liquefied hydrocarbons transshipment complex in southern Russia<\/strong> . As a result of the strike, the drones hit 5 oil product tanks in the tank farm and 2 oil tankers at the terminal.<\/p>\n

Fires also broke out in the area of the cargo parking lot and the complex’s warehouse infrastructure. Russian air defense positions covering the facility were also hit.<\/p>\n

The SBU noted that the Russian oil and gas complex is one of the sources of financing the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“It is petrodollars that are transformed into missiles, drones, and ammunition with which the enemy attacks our cities. Therefore, the SBU will continue to systematically deprive the Russian military machine of resources for waging war,” the Security Service of Ukraine reported.<\/p>\n
