Today, June 14, the Tavria V Odessa Half Marathon of Invincibility 2026, the third stage of the Naftogaz Running League of Invincibility 2026 from Run Ukraine, took place in Odessa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event was attended by<\/span> 3,566<\/b> people from 18 countries around the world. Of these, over<\/span> 3,000<\/b> runners started offline in Odessa, while the rest completed their distances online in different parts of the world. The largest number of participants in this year’s half marathon \u2014 42% \u2014 represented Kyiv.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the participants were 232 servicemen belonging to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Local military veterans with prosthetic limbs and the Superhumans Center team with graduates also took part in the race.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Tavria V Odessa Half Marathon Nezlamnosti 2026<\/b> united thousands of runners in support of<\/span> the 122nd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade<\/b> . This year, the event managed to generate<\/span> 458,000 UAH.<\/b> The title partner of the event \u2014 the all-Ukrainian supermarket chain<\/span> Tavria V<\/b> \u2014 increased this amount with its own contribution, so the total amount of charitable assistance amounted to<\/span> 600,000 UAH.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cFour years ago, the Tavria V Odessa Half Marathon stopped due to the war, and today we are returning to the streets of the city. More than 3,000 people came to Odessa, and for us this is evidence that Odesa lives, Ukraine lives, and we continue to move forward. War does not stop us. No one and nothing will stop our willpower and our faith in victory,\u201d said Dmytro Chernitsky, founder of Run Ukraine, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of<\/span> the Tavria V Odessa Half Marathon Nezlamnosti 2026<\/b> , together with the Athletics Federation of Ukraine,<\/span> the Club Championship of Ukraine in Road Running was held for the first time.<\/b> This is the first championship of this format in which running communities competed: nine teams fought for victory, the winner was the Nyzhnyk team.<\/span><\/p>\n

1,100 participants took part in the start of the main distance \u2014<\/span> 21.1 km<\/b> \u2014 and covered the route in one lap through the central streets of historic Odessa and along the sea with a common start in the city center.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winner<\/span> of the 21 km race<\/b> was<\/span> Ivan Strebkov<\/b> with a time of<\/span> 1:08:07<\/b> , Dmytro Siruk<\/b> finished second<\/span> with a time of<\/span> 1:08:13<\/b> , and<\/span> Mykola Nyzhnyk<\/b> came third with<\/span> a time of 1:08:22.<\/b> The fight for the podium was extremely tight: the difference between first and third places was only 15 seconds.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\u201cToday was a great run, but the track was a surprise for me \u2014 I didn\u2019t expect it to be so hilly. I really like the one-lap route: I ran one lap, and everything was new until the finish. The organization was great, I really felt the support, especially at the finish \u2014 it helped me to work to the end and not give up,\u201d<\/span> Ivan Strebkov<\/b> commented on the victory<\/span> .<\/p>\n

The winner of the girls’ half marathon was<\/span> Sofia Garmash<\/b> \u2014 1:14:42.<\/span> Olga Nyzhnyk<\/b> finished second \u2014 1:16:18. And<\/span> Anna Shustova<\/b> was third with a time of 1:17:52.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very hot in Odessa these days, so it\u2019s great that the start was at 7 am. The route was not easy, especially the second half \u2014 the Health Route is all uphill, but it was more comfortable to run than along French Boulevard. The most difficult sections were the climb after Langeron and the last kilometer before the finish,\u201d<\/span> Sofia Garmash commented on the victory<\/span> .<\/b><\/p>\n

Within the framework of<\/span> the Tavria V Odessa Half Marathon Indestructibility 2026,<\/b> individual starts at distances of 10 km, 5 km, 1.6 km, as well as a symbolic race of veterans – “Heroes of the Nation” and children’s starts were also held.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The oldest participant in the event was 80-year-old<\/span> Serhiy Parashin<\/b> from Kyiv, who covered the 5 km distance. 77-year-old<\/span> Mykola Rylov<\/b> from Odessa covered the 10 km distance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each<\/span> Tavria V finisher of the Odessa Half Marathon Nezlamnosti 2026<\/b> received<\/span> a unique medal<\/b> in memory of the event. Its shape recreates rays that merge into a single whole, symbolizing the power of unity. Each runner is a ray of energy. But only together do these rays create a powerful flow that can change the space around.<\/span> <\/p>\n
