First and foremost, funding for Patriot missiles and other air defense systems.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the European Solidarity team is initiating urgent steps to protect the state, our people and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>FIRST. Hold an urgent parliamentary session to return the 40 billion hryvnias for the army, which were effectively stolen from the Ministry of Defense last week due to budget manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>European Solidarity has already sent official letters to the Verkhovna Rada leadership and the leaders of all parliamentary factions and groups with an initiative to convene a plenary session of parliament no later than this Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>SECOND. We demand an immediate end to the misuse and outright abuse of the Reserve Fund during the war. In just three months, the authorities have managed to squander nearly 50 billion hryvnias from the Reserve Fund, intended for the entire year 2026! The lion&#8217;s share was consumed by populist programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Almost 4 billion UAH is again buried in roads, most of which are definitely not frontline roads;<\/li>\n<li>More than 2.1 billion UAH was thrown away for populist &#8220;cashback&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li>About 16 billion hryvnias were spent on UZ&#8217;s populist program of three thousand free kilometers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Therefore, European Solidarity demands that the government provide a comprehensive report on the use of these funds and future expenditures from the fund. In future, the Reserve Fund must be spent exclusively for its intended purpose:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>recovery after rashist attacks;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the protection of our cities&#8217; energy and critical infrastructure;<\/li>\n<li>rotection of cultural heritage sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also demand an urgent meeting between the faction and the Minister of Culture to hear a report on the status of the evacuation and preservation of Ukrainian cultural treasures.<\/p>\n<p>THIRD. &#8220;European Solidarity&#8221; is initiating an official appeal by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the PACE, the OSCE PA, and UNESCO demanding the strong condemnation and effective punishment of Russia for its genocide, vandalism, and terror against global cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>We will do everything we can to ensure this issue becomes a key issue at the summer sessions of the international assemblies. A united position by the entire Ukrainian parliament is essential to holding the aggressor accountable.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, members of parliament from the European Solidarity faction visited the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal, which were damaged during Russia&#8217;s latest attack on Kyiv, and <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/eurosolidarity-calls-on-the-world-to-react-harshly-to-russias-genocidal-practices\/\">called on the international community to respond strongly to the attacks on Ukraine&#8217;s cultural heritage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Also follow <strong>&#8220;Pryamy&#8221;<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Telegram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Solidarity Party demands an urgent meeting of the Verkhovna Rada to restore adequate funding to the army for air defense operations.
