The tentatively agreed date is July 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"229\" data-end=\"267\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pravda.com.ua\/news\/2026\/06\/16\/8039525\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported by<\/a> &#8220;Ukrainian Truth&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"272\" data-end=\"393\">This date is currently not on the EU Council calendar, but it is already planned and has been previously discussed by European ministers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"272\" data-end=\"393\">\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/a-new-stage-of-european-integration-poroshenko-welcomed-the-opening-of-the-first-negotiating-cluster-on-ukraines-accession-to-the-eu\/\">&#8220;A new stage of European integration,&#8221; Poroshenko welcomed the opening of the first negotiating cluster on Ukraine&#8217;s accession to the EU<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"398\" data-end=\"629\">European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Cos did not officially announce the date at a press conference after a meeting in Luxembourg on June 15, but hinted that the opening of the remaining clusters in negotiations with Ukraine could take place on July 14.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"755\">&#8220;Today is a mega Monday for me&#8230; I hope we will have an &#8216;incredible Tuesday&#8217; in July,&#8221; the European Commissioner noted.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"914\">In particular, on June 15, negotiations between Europe and Ukraine within the first negotiation cluster took place in Luxembourg during the second EU Intergovernmental Conference.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1093\">The Cypriot presidency officially handed over to Ukraine the interim and final negotiating criteria (so-called &#8220;benchmarks&#8221;) in the form of the EU&#8217;s common negotiating position on the accession conditions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1297\">Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka expressed confidence that all EU countries will support the opening of the remaining five negotiation clusters with Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1572\">Previously, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/uhorshchyna-pohodylasia-na-perehovory-pro-vstup-ukrainy-do-yes-ale-za-odniiei-umovy\/\">&#8220;Pryamiy&#8221; reported that Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Anita Orban stated<\/a> that the negotiation process on Ukraine&#8217;s accession to the European Union may be suspended if Kyiv does not fulfill agreements regarding the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1883\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/skilky-mozhut-tryvaty-tekhnichni-perehovory-shchodo-vstupu-ukrainy-do-yes-otsinky-ievropeyskykh-chynovnykiv\/\">The European Union also expressed the opinion<\/a> that, with sufficient political will, Ukraine could complete technical negotiations on EU accession in about four years.
