Ukraine continues to develop its own ballistic weapons, which in the future will be able to strike at Russian territory and significantly influence the course of the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov in an interview<\/a> with TSN as part of the “United News” telethon.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, the emergence of Ukrainian ballistics will be an important step not only for the state’s defense capabilities, but also for its position in the world.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Ukrainian ballistics will change everything in this war, it will change Ukraine’s status in the world. We have already changed it many times, and this is a completely different league,” Fedorov said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The minister recalled President Volodymyr Zelensky’s words that Ukrainian ballistic missiles will and will hit Russia. At the same time, he assured that there are no financial problems with the implementation of this project.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fedorov also commented on rumors about a possible conflict with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky. According to him, professional discussions may arise between them regarding individual decisions, but there is no confrontation.<\/p>\n

“We are on the same team – the team of Ukraine and the team of the president. We will not give the Russians such a gift as any conflict between us,” the minister emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Separately, Fedorov spoke about the latest Russian strikes on Kyiv. He believes that attacks on civilian objects have no military significance and are aimed solely at psychological pressure on Ukrainians.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“This is some kind of agony and nerves of Putin – trying to strike at the city center, killing civilians,” the head of the Defense Ministry noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the minister, the current massive attacks may indicate the limits of Russia’s capabilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Everything he can accumulate is, as we see, his maximum, which he can achieve at the moment,” Fedorov said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, he emphasized that strikes on Ukrainian cities do not affect weapons production and are not capable of changing the situation on the battlefield.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fedorov also assured that the Ministry of Defense continues to react harshly to any manifestations of corruption in defense procurement.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“I will personally do everything to ensure that you are arrested,” the minister said, commenting on the responsibility for those involved in corruption schemes.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He added that some ministry employees were fired after polygraph tests. According to Fedorov, those who refused to take the test or failed to pass it lost their positions.<\/p>\n

Recall that Ukraine has doubled the supply of interceptor drones for the army since the beginning of 2026<\/a> compared to the entire year 2025. <\/p>\n
