This measure is also included in the 19th package of EU sanctions against Russia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"899\">A ban on the import of Russian pipeline gas under long-term contracts is scheduled to be introduced on September 30, 2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"901\" data-end=\"1032\">At the same time, if member states experience difficulties in filling gas storage facilities, this date may be postponed to November 1, 2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1228\">The International Energy Agency (IEA) believes that Russia will never be able to regain the position in the global natural gas market that it had before the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1482\">Earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zbroia-ppo-ta-sanktsii-proty-rf-g7-vystupyla-iz-zaiavoiu-shchodo-ukrainy\/\">&#8220;Pryamiy&#8221; reported that the leaders of the G7 countries confirmed their intention to strengthen military and economic support for Ukraine.<\/a> Among the priorities are increasing supplies of air defense systems, long-range weapons, and assistance in the development of Ukrainian defense production.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1484\" data-end=\"1754\"><a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/velyka-brytaniia-vvela-novi-sanktsii-proty-rosii-khto-potrapyv-pid-obmezhennia\/\">The UK has also announced a new package of sanctions against Russia<\/a> aimed at combating schemes to circumvent Western restrictions.
