On June 16 and the night of June 17, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of military and logistical facilities of Russian troops. Among the targets hit were a tanker of the Russian shadow fleet, bridges, command posts, and drone control points.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In the Black Sea, Ukrainian military personnel struck a shadow fleet tanker FINA A, which is under sanctions by the European Union, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The General Staff confirmed that the ship was damaged. The extent of its damage is currently being determined.<\/p>\n

According to the military, the tanker was used to transport oil and petroleum products in the interests of Russia, circumventing international sanctions.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Defense Forces struck targets used by the Russian army to provide military logistics and transfer forces between temporarily occupied territories in southern Ukraine. In particular, the Ukrainian military struck a road bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the village of Stavky in the Kherson region and a road bridge in the Voinka area.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian defenders also struck a command and observation post and a control point of Russian troops in the area of Velyka Novoselka in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n

In addition, Russian UAV control points in the Kamyanske and Novoprokopivka districts of Zaporizhia region, Ivano-Frankivsk and Komar in Donetsk region, Oleshki in Kherson region, Maliivka in Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Korovyakovka and Kucherovo in Kursk region of the Russian Federation were hit.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that on the night of Tuesday, June 16, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Moscow Region of Russia.<\/a> The Ukrainian military also struck control points, warehouses, and facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, June 16, drones attacked fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia.<\/a> In particular, there are reports of a fire at the Moscow Oil Refinery and a fire at an oil depot in the Krasnodar Territory.<\/p>\n
