Ukrainian company SkyFall has unveiled a new P1-SUN Long interceptor drone, which has received an artificial intelligence system for searching and destroying air targets. The presentation took place at the Eurosatory 2026 international arms exhibition in Paris.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine<\/a> with reference to the company’s press service.<\/p>\n

SkyFall said that the new P1-SUN Long is already being used on the front lines. The drone has dozens of confirmed intercepts of Russian “shaheeds.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The main feature of the new product is an artificial intelligence system that independently finds, captures and tracks an aerial target. Depending on the installed camera, the drone can detect it at a distance of up to one kilometer, and the operator only has to control the process.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The company notes that the system runs on a regular processor, so expensive graphics chips are not required for production. This allows for faster scale-up of the production of such interceptors.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Another feature is that the drone’s software can be updated remotely, even during combat use. Thanks to this, the artificial intelligence algorithms are constantly improved without returning the equipment to the factory.<\/p>\n

SkyFall explained that the AI was trained on thousands of hours of real flights, simulations, and combat data.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

P1-SUN Long was also integrated with the company’s remote control system, which allows the interceptor to be controlled via the Internet.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

SkyFall says that in the future they plan to create an entire ecosystem of autonomous drones that will be able to independently find and hit targets without the constant participation of an operator.<\/p>\n
