On the night of June 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces special operations forces struck two fuel facilities in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. After the attack, fires broke out at the oil and fuel depot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the SSO, Deep Strike units, in cooperation with the Chernaya Iskra rebel movement in the territory of the Russian Federation, struck the Rostovnefteprodukt oil depot and a fuel and lubricants base in the city of Gukovo.<\/p>\n

The SSO noted that several strike drones reached their targets. Fires and destruction were recorded at both facilities.<\/p>\n

The affected facilities were used for storage, transshipment, and shipment of gasoline, diesel fuel, fuels and lubricants, and other petroleum products.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Special Operations Forces emphasized that the Rostov region is one of the key rear regions of the Russian Federation, which provides support to the Russian group of troops in the south and east of Ukraine. According to them, the affected facilities were used both to provide the civilian transport system of the region and to support the military logistics of the occupation forces.<\/p>\n

The SSO added that they will continue to strike at important enemy targets to weaken their military capabilities.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that on the night of Tuesday, June 16, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Moscow Region of Russia.<\/a> The Ukrainian military also struck control points, warehouses, and facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, June 16, drones attacked fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia.<\/a> In particular, there are reports of a fire at the Moscow Oil Refinery and a fire at an oil depot in the Krasnodar Territory.<\/p>\n
