President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine may destroy equipment on the territory of Belarus that Russia uses to correct strikes on Ukrainian territory. He gave Alexander Lukashenko 1 week to disable this equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said this during a press conference.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to statements by Alexander Lukashenko, who earlier said that he had “overdone” his rhetoric regarding Ukraine. The president emphasized that personal insults can be forgiven, but not Belarus’ participation in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“When the full-scale war began, we were attacked by missiles. They killed children, adults – and you know this – a large number. The missiles flew from Belarus. From his country,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n

According to the president, repeaters and other equipment that help Russia strike at civilian targets in Ukraine continue to operate in Belarus.<\/p>\n

“Let him turn off this equipment. I think it will be enough for him to do it in a week. Because now every day our civilians are dying because of this, our children are injured. If he doesn’t do it, we will,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n

The President also stated that Belarus remains one of the main suppliers of fuel for the Russian army and expressed the opinion that Russia will continue to try to drag Belarus into the war through various provocations.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the drone strike on the bus, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that, according to him, international experts have concluded that this strike was not carried out by Ukraine. He also stated that Russia could use such incidents to drag Belarus into war.<\/p>\n

The day before, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, stated that Ukraine had already identified the first 500 targets in Belarus in the event of Minsk’s direct entry into the war on the side of Russia.<\/a><\/p>\n

Subsequently, Alexander Lukashenko commented on the statement of the commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdy, about identifying 500 targets in Belarus in case of invasion<\/a> . In response, he stated that Belarus had its own targets and assured that Minsk was not preparing to attack Ukraine.<\/p>\n
