On the morning of June 22, Russian forces used a drone to attack the home of a large family in the Znob-Novgorod community of the Shostka district of the Sumy region. The strike killed a 13-year-old boy, his father, and his grandmother, and injured three other family members.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

According to the agency, a Russian drone attacked a residential building at around 04:50 on June 22.<\/p>\n

The attack killed a 13-year-old boy, his 36-year-old father, and his 73-year-old grandmother. The boy’s 31-year-old mother, his 10-year-old brother, and his 13-year-old sister were injured.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the Russian attack.<\/p>\n

Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of people. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the SBU Department in Sumy Region.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the Russians shelled Zaporizhzhia and civilian settlements in the region, resulting in the deaths of 3 people<\/a> and the wounding of 10 others. Among the injured is an 11-year-old boy who is under medical supervision.<\/p>\n
