On the night of June 22, drones attacked Moscow, the Moscow region, and temporarily occupied Crimea. The Russian capital announced air defense operations and temporary restrictions on airport operations, while Crimea reported strikes on the Tavria TPP and the building of the Russian Federal Security Service.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by Russian media.<\/p>\n

The first reports of an attack on Moscow and the Moscow region appeared at around 03:00. Local residents reported the flight of drones towards the Russian capital, after which air defenses began to operate in the city and region.<\/p>\n

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that 59 drones were allegedly shot down over the Moscow region. According to him, some of the drones were intercepted directly within the city limits.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the attack, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of flights were introduced at Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo airports.<\/p>\n

Social media also reported the deployment of air defense systems at infrastructure facilities in Moscow. In particular, the systems were spotted on a bridge near the Sadovod shopping center and the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotny district.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in temporarily occupied Crimea, there are reports of a drone attack on the Tavriysk TPP. Local residents reported explosions and air defense operations.<\/p>\n

According to local media, the building of the Russian FSB border service near the train station in Armyansk was also attacked. The impact was followed by a detonation, likely of ammunition, and satellite data recorded areas of fire.<\/p>\n

In addition, residents of Feodosia reported a loss of electricity after the explosion. Representatives of the occupation authorities of Crimea did not officially report on the consequences of the attack.<\/p>\n

As is known,on the night of June 21, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the port of Kerch in temporarily occupied Crimea<\/a> , as well as the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, as a result of which severe fires broke out there.<\/p>\n

Later, it became known that a number of temporary restrictions were introduced in occupied Sevastopol<\/a> , including the suspension of fuel sales to the population, the cancellation of mass events, and changes to transport operations. The occupation authorities also warned of possible temporary power outages due to overloading of power grids.<\/p>\n

By the way, on June 18,drones attacked a number of facilities in Russia<\/a> . Moscow, Rostov and Belgorod regions were hit. After the attacks, fires broke out at several facilities.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, June 16, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Moscow Region of Russia<\/a> . The Ukrainian military also struck control points, warehouses, and facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.<\/p>\n
