During the searches, police officers seized more than 6 kg of drugs and psychotropic substances, liquidated a drug laboratory and declared the suspects under suspicion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/kyiv.npu.gov.ua\/news\/vylucheno-bilshe-6-kh-narkotykiv-ta-psykhotropiv-politsiia-kyieva-likviduvala-mizhrehionalnu-narkomerezhu-z-narkolaboratoriieiu-na-terytorii-stolytsi?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAYnJpZBExZlJhT1dGY2hKN2dRM09BZXNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR7ROmx8fNxqxB774x3DM6IVWGsfyVIb4WD-EruVHjKYkQDD5EKtOTOkVbdHWw_aem_FaP9mfn0i2Zqc1JTKO8liQ\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the National Police of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> Operatives of the Drug Crime Control Department of the Kyiv Police Headquarters, together with criminal analysis specialists, detectives and investigators from Kyiv district police departments, exposed 40 suspects who organized a large-scale distribution channel for narcotics and psychotropic substances in the capital and other regions of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> During dozens of searches, law enforcement officers seized:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> about 3 kg of the psychotropic drug Alfa-PVP;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> 300 g of cocaine;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> 2.5 kg of cannabis;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> about 400 g of amphetamine;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> MDMA;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> methamphetamine;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> mephedrone;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> methadone;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> psilocybin mushrooms;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> about 1.5 kg of confectionery containing cannabis.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> Also in one of the districts of Kyiv, police discovered and liquidated a drug laboratory where amphetamine was being produced. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the seized narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances at &#8220;black market&#8221; prices exceeds 3 million hryvnias.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, the network members sought buyers through closed channels in the messenger. The drugs were delivered through the post offices of logistics companies to different regions of Ukraine or delivered in person. To disguise the contents of the packages, they used clothes, food products, household appliances and children&#8217;s toys.<\/p>\n<p> Kyiv police investigators, under the procedural guidance of the capital&#8217;s district prosecutor&#8217;s offices, informed the defendants of the suspicion. The maximum penalty under the incriminating articles provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bJSLWYrtyD8?si=yv72nXsBGJowxFvf\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/khovav-kokain-u-podarunkovomu-myli-u-kyievi-zasudyly-cholovika-za-zbut-narkotykiv-cherez-sluzhby-taksi\/\">a court in Kyiv found a 43-year-old man guilty of illegal acquisition, possession for the purpose of sale, and sale of narcotic drugs<\/a> and psychotropic substances.
