Russian occupation forces have intensified in the Lyman direction in Donetsk region and are trying to infiltrate into the eastern part of the city of Lyman. The most difficult situation is currently observed in the area of Yampol and the village of Ozerne.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by analysts of the Ukrainian OSINT community DeepState.<\/p>\n

According to their data, the detections of Russian military personnel in Liman are still unsystematic and do not indicate the establishment of control over the city. At the same time, DeepState called on the higher military command to pay attention to this section of the front. <\/p>\n

Analysts note that the Russian army has been active in the Lyman direction for some time. After the occupiers advanced near Kostyantynivka, Lyman became a more important target for the enemy.<\/p>\n

One of the reasons for the difficult situation in DeepState is the numerical superiority of Russian troops and the insufficient density of Ukrainian defense in certain areas.<\/p>\n

According to analysts, the greatest enemy activity is observed in the area of the Serebryansk Forestry, where Russian troops are trying to move, consolidate, and advance.<\/p>\n

In Liman itself, the enemy is being spotted on the eastern outskirts of the city. However, these cases remain isolated so far.<\/p>\n

At the same time, DeepState noted the work of Ukrainian drone operators who strike Russian infantry.<\/p>\n

“We hope that the higher command will pay attention to this area and take appropriate steps so that we do not lose a bunch of people for no reason,” the analysts said.<\/p>\n

As reported, in the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 20 times<\/a> , attacking in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, Kopanky and towards Borova, Drobysheve, Ozerne, Lyman, and Dibrova.<\/p>\n
