The Russian army is trying to launch a new summer offensive campaign, creating a new point of tension north of Kharkiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced on the air of<\/a> “Suspilny” by the spokesman for the “Khortytsia” OSUV Viktor Tregubov.<\/p>\n

“The Russians are now entering the peak of the summer campaign. And it seems that they are trying to achieve some results before the situation with logistics and the supply of fuel and lubricants begins to really affect them. Therefore, we see a very strong revival in the Lymansky direction. There is also a noticeable revival in other directions – Kupyansky, Yuzhno-Slobozhansky, Pivdenny-Slobozhansky and even Velykoy Burlutsky, which is usually quiet. There are also certain movements there,” Tregubov said.<\/p>\n

He noted that Russia displays on its maps exaggerated achievements of its army at the front.<\/p>\n

According to him, this indicates the goals that the Russian command sets for the troops.<\/p>\n

“They are drawing a presence in Lyman, drawing the occupation of Kupyansk, drawing Kozacha Lopan, etc. Therefore, we are dealing with the fact that for them the first priority is to increase control over the territories in the Lymansk direction. They still have not given up hope for Kupyansk – both the city itself and the Ukrainian bridgehead on the Oskil River,” Tregubov added.<\/p>\n

In particular, he noted that the enemy is trying to create a new “point of tension” north of Kharkiv, in the Kozacha Lopan area.<\/p>\n

He also added that there is also a revival on the front line in Sumy region.<\/p>\n

Previously, “Pryamiy” reported thatin the Kostyantynivka direction, as of June 21, 2026, the Ukrainian military had repelled 11 attacks by Russian occupiers.<\/a><\/p>\n
