The Ukrainian Navy has not confirmed the information about the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Kinburn Spit. According to the military, the territory remains a combat zone and is of strategic importance for the occupiers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Suspilne with reference to the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.<\/p>\n

“We are now observing the process of destroying Russian logistics. This has been happening consistently for several years. But as of now, the Kinburn Spit is a combat zone,” Pletenchuk emphasized.<\/p>\n

He added that the Kinburn Spit remains strategically important for Russian troops.<\/p>\n

The day before, the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces “South” released a video showing Ukrainian military personnel raising a blue-and-yellow flag on the Kinburn Spit.<\/a> The video’s caption stated that the Russian occupiers had allegedly retreated from their occupied positions.<\/p>\n
