President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced<\/a> that he has approved a new 40-day operation by the Security Service of Ukraine, which is intended to increase pressure on Russia and force it to end the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the president, he heard a report by Major General Yevheniy Khmara on the results of the work of the SBU, the use of long-range weapons, and the secret service’s further plans.<\/p>\n

After the report, Zelensky agreed to conduct a 40-day operation to influence the aggressor state.<\/p>\n

The President also praised the work of the Alpha Special Operations Center. He emphasized that for several months in a row, the unit has been demonstrating some of the best results on the front line thanks to the effective use of drones.<\/p>\n

According to Zelensky, it is “Alpha” that currently has the highest rates of destruction of Russian military personnel and equipment among the units of the Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

Separately, during the meeting, the issue of Ukraine’s internal security was discussed.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukrainian forces have struck a number of fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia<\/a> . Two oil refineries in Ufa and an oil depot in the Krasnodar Territory were under attack.<\/p>\n
