On the night of Saturday, June 27, the third round of Group H matches at the 2026 World Cup will take place. The teams will be Cabo Verde and Saudi Arabia, as well as Uruguay and Spain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both matches will kick off at 3:00 AM Kyiv time. The Cabo Verde vs. Saudi Arabia<\/strong> match will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, USA. The Uruguay vs. Spain<\/strong> match will be held at Estadio Acron (Estadio Guadalajara) in Zapopan (Guadalajara), Mexico.<\/p>\n

Group H remains the most intriguing heading into the third round. No team has yet secured a playoff spot, and none has missed out on qualifying.<\/p>\n

Spain has four points and sits top. La Furia Roja is in the most comfortable position thanks to a crushing 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia. A draw with Uruguay is all it takes to secure top spot in the group. Even if Cape Verde beats Saudi Arabia, if the two teams are tied on points, Spain will retain the lead thanks to their superior goal difference.<\/p>\n

Uruguay and Cape Verde each have two points and a goal difference of zero. A win in their match will guarantee either team a spot in the Round of 32. If both teams draw, the second place will be decided by tiebreakers.<\/p>\n

Saudi Arabia has one point, but they still have a chance to qualify. However, they only need a win over Cape Verde, preferably with a higher goal difference, to improve their chances of reaching the playoffs among the third-best teams. In that case, the Saudis would earn four points and could qualify from at least third place.<\/p>\n
