Its feature is the combination of the functions of an interceptor drone and a strike drone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/mod.gov.ua\/news\/perekhopliuvach-i-kamikadze-chym-unikalnyi-novyi-ukrainskyi-bpak-talion\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n<p> The department noted that the main purpose of the complex is to intercept enemy drones. For this purpose, the TALION is used as a kamikaze drone capable of destroying air targets.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The main scope of the complex is its use as a kamikaze aircraft to intercept enemy unmanned aerial vehicles,&#8221; the Ministry of Defense reported.<\/p>\n<p> The operator can control the drone in both manual and semi-automatic modes.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, the complex is capable of performing not only air defense tasks. It can also be used to destroy ground targets, which makes the new development universal for use on the battlefield.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;In addition to performing air defense tasks, the TALION UAV can be effectively used to destroy ground targets and perform other tactical tasks as a strike drone,&#8221; the department noted.<\/p>\n<p> The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the complex is capable of operating at both low and high altitudes, which allows it to intercept almost all types of enemy drones.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, the long-term airborne capability makes it possible to use the TALION for patrolling and reconnaissance.<\/p>\n<p> According to the department, the combination of the functions of an interceptor and a loitering munition should strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian military in the fight against Russian drones and increase the effectiveness of hitting targets in tactical depth.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that earlier the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/vytrymuie-pidryv-do-10-kh-i-zakhyshchaie-vid-fpv-droniv-zsu-otrymaiut-novyy-broneavtomobil-sova\/\">admitted into operation the new domestic armored vehicle MAC OWL &#8220;Owl&#8221;<\/a> .
