Another Reuters source reported that two more tankers are currently en route by sea, carrying 30,000 and 40,000 tons of fuel, respectively.

The agency’s sources also note that Russia plans to import approximately 400,000 tons of gasoline monthly from various countries. Among the main suppliers is Belarus, which nearly tripled its rail shipments of gasoline to Russia in the first half of June, reaching 70,000 tons.

According to Reuters, daily gasoline consumption in Russia during the summer is at least 110,000 tons, forcing the country to seek additional sources of supply amid declining domestic production.

Incidentally, Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries are increasingly impacting the Russian fuel industry . Gasoline production has significantly declined, and fuel shortages are already affecting regions located thousands of kilometers from Ukraine.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the results of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against Russian military installations on June 18 and the night of June 19, 2026. Among the targets hit were railway bridges in temporarily occupied Crimea, military infrastructure, and the Moscow Oil Refinery.

As reported, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck two fuel facilities in Russia’s Rostov Oblast on the night of June 18.
