The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 8.28 billion in budget allocations to the security and defense sector. The corresponding order dated July 1 was published on the Government Portal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“In accordance with paragraph four of Article 37 of the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026”, distribute part of the budget allocations provided for in 2026 to the Ministry of Finance in the general fund of the state budget (general state expenditures and lending) under budget program 3511220 “Reserve of funds for the security and defense sector” in the amount of 8,280,469.1 thousand hryvnias,” the document states.<\/p>\n

It is known that the Military District will receive UAH 2.35 billion, of which UAH 1.16 billion is earmarked for payment of cash benefits to military personnel.<\/p>\n

The Security Service of Ukraine will be allocated UAH 4.69 billion, of which UAH 1.9 billion will be directed to paying cash benefits to military personnel.<\/p>\n

The State Protection Department will receive UAH 413.14 million, of which UAH 304.34 million will be directed to the payment of cash benefits to military personnel.<\/p>\n

The Foreign Intelligence Service is allocated UAH 510.8 million, of which UAH 208.3 million is for the payment of financial support to military personnel.<\/p>\n

The Administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection has been allocated UAH 312.21 million, which will be fully allocated to paying cash benefits to military personnel.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Ministry of Finance has been instructed to ensure that appropriate changes are made to the state budget in accordance with the established procedure.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that in June 2026, UAH 433.9 billion in taxes, fees, and other mandatory payments were received by the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov also addressed a letter to European partners<\/a> , calling for the allocation of 6.6 billion euros from the European Peace Fund for Ukraine’s defense needs.<\/p>\n
