A Russian overnight attack has destroyed the central warehouse of the BookChef publishing house’s logistics partner. The fire destroyed most of the stock stored in the warehouse.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to preliminary estimates, the publishing house lost about 800,000 copies of books as a result of the fire. BookChef emphasized that this is the result of many years of work by authors, translators, editors, illustrators, designers, printers, managers, and logisticians.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the publishing house noted that the most important thing is that no one was injured during the attack.<\/p>\n

Due to the loss of inventory, BookChef has temporarily suspended all joint promotions with partner bookstores. The company also warned of possible delays in order processing and delivery while it restores logistics processes.<\/p>\n

The publishing house urged readers to support Ukrainian book publishing by purchasing books through the official online store. They noted that this will help restore circulation faster and return to normal operations.<\/p>\n

Despite significant losses, BookChef stated that it would continue to operate, publish new books, and invest in the development of Ukrainian book publishing.<\/p>\n
